Ali Mert Çavuşoğlu

Ali Mert provides corporate advisory and dispute resolution services to clients operating in diverse industries, including chemicals, industrial manufacturing, medical devices, financial services and consumer goods.

Ali Mert's services encompass his clients' whole business lifecycle, beginning with investment and company establishment, continuing with regular advice on contracts, compliance and corporate governance & finance and going on until company liquidation or acquisition. In addition to his corporate & commercial law practice, he has significant expertise in handling intellectual property disputes and portfolio management.

After obtaining his LL.B. from Ankara University with Honors, Ali Mert interned at a top tier law firm on Corporate Law and Intellectual Property before being admitted to the Istanbul Bar.

Ali Mert currently serves as the Secretary of Istanbul Bar Arbitration Centre. He is also a member of Istanbul Arbitration Association (ISTA), ICC Young Arbitration & ADR Forum, Young ICCA and Young ISTAC.

Ali Mert is a registered Turkish Trademark Attorney, qualified to represent his clients in all trademark and design registration, opposition, renewal and other prosecution proceedings before Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Association of Turkish Patent and Trademark Attorneys. Ali Mert also co-authored a book titled "Preparation Book for the Turkish Trademark Attorney Qualification Exam".
